About this opportunity

As Kenya Programme Lead, you will hold the delivery vision for the national programme - translating strategy into action across founding counties, hub teams and partner networks. You will ensure programme quality, evidence integrity and alignment with government priorities, while building the operational rhythm that makes scale possible. This is a senior leadership role for an experienced programme director who has delivered complex, multi-stakeholder education initiatives in Kenya.

What you will do

  • Lead programme delivery across founding counties and hubs
  • Coordinate with government, partners and county officials
  • Ensure programme quality, evidence and reporting standards
  • Build and manage the programme team and delivery rhythm
  • Drive scale-readiness and national rollout planning

What we are looking for

  • Senior programme leadership in Kenyan education or public-sector delivery
  • Experience managing multi-county or national-scale initiatives
  • Strong government and stakeholder relationship management
  • Demonstrated results in complex, multi-partner programmes

Useful but not essential

  • Experience with CBC/CBE implementation
  • Background in school improvement or systems change
  • Familiarity with county-level education structures

What you may gain

  • Lead a nationally significant education programme
  • Shape delivery at scale across multiple counties
  • Work at the intersection of government, community and evidence

How the selection process works

The process typically involves an initial review, a short conversation, and a relevant task or second conversation before a decision is made. We will explain the next step clearly at each stage.
