Country CEO
Holds ultimate accountability for the Kenya country operation - its mission, people, partnerships, finances and delivery - and represents OBC at the most senior levels nationally.
As Country CEO, you will be the senior accountable leader for One Big Change in Kenya. You will set the country strategy in partnership with the global board, build and lead the senior team, secure and steward resources, and represent the organisation to government, partners and the public. This is a CEO-scale role for an exceptional leader with deep Kenya experience, a track record of building organisations, and a genuine commitment to education transformation.
What you will do
- Set and deliver the Kenya country strategy
- Build, lead and develop the senior leadership team
- Secure and steward financial and partnership resources
- Represent OBC to government, partners and the public
- Ensure organisational health, governance and compliance
What we are looking for
- Senior executive or CEO-level leadership experience
- Track record building and scaling organisations in Kenya
- Deep understanding of the Kenyan education and public-sector landscape
- Demonstrated success in resource mobilisation and partnership building
Useful but not essential
- Experience in education or social-impact leadership
- Existing networks across Kenyan government and civil society
- Board-level governance experience
