Executive Summary
Kenya has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving education through the Competency Based Curriculum, teacher professional development, digital learning, school leadership, STEM education and infrastructure investment.
Significant progress has been made in providing schools with the resources needed to deliver a modern education system. However, the greatest challenge is no longer investment. It is implementation.
Schools require structured support to translate policy, technology and professional development into consistent improvements in teaching practice, leadership and learner outcomes.
Why This Matters

Why This Programme Exists
Schools do not need more disconnected initiatives.
They need structured implementation support.
Rather than asking schools to tackle multiple priorities simultaneously, each school identifies one strategic improvement priority aligned with its context and national education priorities.
That priority becomes the focus for an entire year of implementation support.

Technology to Teaching Impact
Accelerating Competency Based Education through School Leadership and Digital Implementation
The programme supports schools to maximise the educational value of existing investments in technology and teacher development.
The focus is not on purchasing more equipment.
The focus is on helping teachers and school leaders confidently use the resources already available to improve classroom practice.
The Hub School Model
One experienced school becomes the Hub School for its county.
Each of the 10 founding schools is selected from a different major county across Kenya's regions, creating a national spread of Hubs. The Hub supports a network of neighbouring schools within the county, working towards similar improvement goals.
10 Hub Schools
One founding school per county, selected from major counties across all of Kenya's regions, representing Western, Nyanza, Rift Valley, Coast, Eastern and Central.
9 Partner Schools per Hub
Each Hub supports 9 neighbouring schools within its county, participating in expert led sessions focused on one core practical challenge.
100 Schools Total
A national network of 100 schools with local support hubs in every participating county, receiving ongoing coaching and evidence based guidance.

Founding Pilot
Launching across Kenya
Ten founding schools selected from major counties across the country, including Kakamega, Busia, Kisumu, Kisii, Bomet, Kericho, Uasin Gishu, Nakuru, Mombasa, Meru, Machakos, Nairobi, Kiambu and others. Each becomes a Hub for its county, supporting 9 other schools. This creates a national network of 100 schools with local support hubs in every participating county.

The long term ambition is to establish Kenya's School Improvement Partnership Platform, a sustainable ecosystem connecting government, schools, universities, corporate partners and education experts to accelerate meaningful educational improvement across the country.
The future of school improvement will not be achieved through isolated projects.
It will be achieved through sustained partnerships.
The Kenya School Improvement Partnership has been designed to bring together the organisations that already share the same ambition, government, schools, universities, sponsors and education experts, and provide a practical implementation framework that turns investment into measurable educational impact.
